Louis has more than 30 years of experience in both the financial management and operations management of small and mid-sized companies. His career began with a solid foundation in the audit department of Price Waterhouse & Co in its Houston office. He worked with various clients in oil and gas, manufacturing, and other related industries. He was part of the three man team that founded the Small Business department in the Houston office. After five years Louis left Price Waterhouse to work in the family-owned business and since then has functioned in various roles with several businesses in executive management, financial management, and operations management. He has served in both the Chief Financial Officer and the Chief Operations Officer positions. He served a lead role in a number of business startup situations and is familiar with all that is involved to go from an “idea” to a viable business enterprise. His diversified background in both closely-held and family-owned businesses includes the automotive industry, transportation, oil and gas, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, food production,, and financial services.

Over the course of his career Louis has management experience in many different
business facets including financial management and reporting, human resource management, plant maintenance, production operations, logistics, corporate and employee insurance programs, business strategic planning, creating forward-looking financial models, designing management information reports, writing business plans and offering memorandums, creating and implementing employee incentive programs, planning and executing exit strategies, as well as managing systems of internal controls.

Louis earned his B.S. Degree in Accounting at Louisiana State University in Baton
Rouge, Louisiana in 1971, after graduating from St. Thomas High School in Houston, Texas in 1967. Louis is a native Houstonian and has lived in Houston all his life except for time spent in New Orleans from 1989 to 2004.
